How to Email Your TPT Email List
You sign up for Mailchimp or ConvertKit. You create a landing page. You send a note to followers announcing your list and now you have 13 people on your email list.
Hmmm. Now you need to send them important emails that need to be opened. Where do you find importanty teacherish emails like that?
You tried writing them. But…
Hey Teacher Friend
Hey Teach
Girl you’re going to love this new product
Well, nothing really felt right. So you quit. Just for today. Or this week. Or...maybe... until you have 100 followers.
But, that struggle doesn’t even need to happen. After you get everything set up, here’s how you should start your list. (Worry free.)
Worry Free Email Lists Start By Doing and Not Thinking
If you worry about saying the right thing in the right way.
If you don’t have the brain power after working a full school day.
If you want to get started fast.
Use email templates.
Email templates make writing to your list easy because the content has been created for you. All you have to do is copy and paste, fill in the blanks, and press send. It takes all the pressure of doing it "right" away so that you can get comfortable sending emails.
But as you get more comfortable, you’ll notice that email templates are a bit bland. And being the creative you are, you'll inject some personality into them.
But, when you notice this, it might be time to move to the next phase.
But You Learn to Be a Email Writer with Email Starters

But, sometimes you have a topic that really isn’t common enough to need a template or email starter.
What do you do then?

You Need an Email List, But Not a Useless List
Yes, you do need an email list. But, you don’t need an email list that just sits there and grows names without growing your bank account.
When you first start out your email list isn’t going to make you much money. Kinda like your TpT store. It’s a large time investment up front. But after that, your email list should work for you.
Use email templates or email starters to make starting an email list easy to do.
